Jude Connally Zimmerman
Jude Connally Zimmerman, creator of the Jude Connally lifestyle brand, was raised in Upstate New York. She spent many summers in Saratoga, going to the track and enjoying the town.
Saratoga summers became family traditions. Jude’s uncle, the honorable James T. Foley, and his wife, her Aunt Eleanor, always had a box at the Saratoga Race Course. Five of Jude’s six siblings, and their families, still live in the area (two of which are now directors in the company). The family business’ Jude Connally Flagship Store is located in Westfield, NJ. Jude’s sons operate the company’s distribution center nearby.
Since its founding in 2010, Jude Connally has grown into a women’s lifestyle brand being sold in more than 300 specialty boutiques across the country, select Dillard’s department stores, as well as online at JudeConnally.com.
By combining easy silhouettes with joyful, vibrantly colored prints, Jude Connally clothing makes getting dressed effortless. This is activewear-inspired clothing that women can throw on and feel instantly comfortable in yet know they look polished and put together.

ON ONE FATEFUL BREAK BETWEEN MEETINGS…
Jude Connally’s signature Jude Cloth product is made in New York City’s Garment District. A rarity in today’s fashion marketplace. By cutting and sewing pieces within the city, Jude supports the local garment industry and remains close to the process. While continually designing and delivering new collections every month, Jude Connally also offers white-glove customer service, with style help, and order care all just a phone call away.
Saratoga however, will always hold a very special place in Jude’s heart. Just before he passed away, Jude’s father suggested she open a store here. Seven years later, in 2011, Jude was in the area on business and had a short break between meetings.
She decided to visit Saratoga, a place she had loved as a child, when fate stepped in. A little more than a week after she saw a vacant storefront on Broadway, Jude had signed a three-month lease and opened a pop-up shop at 438 Broadway. It felt serendipitous, she said.“That shop became one of the highlights of the early days of the brand. I met people from all over the world, created wonderful relationships, and many of those connections helped expand Jude Connally in ways I never could have imagined. At the time, I remember saying, ‘I fell in love here — with the track, the people, the energy.’ That is still how I feel about Saratoga.”
" ...a dress should take you from
the track to lunch, from shopping
on Broadway to dinner with
friends, from a summer afternoon
to a lasting memory. That is very
much the world I design for."
COLOR, CONFIDENCE, AND CONNECTION COMES TOGETHER
Like the Jude Connally brand, Saratoga is classic, optimistic, and full of life.
“For me, Saratoga has always been more than a place to visit. It has a feeling all its own — the energy of the track, the beauty of Broadway, the history, the people, and that wonderful mix of elegance and ease. When I think of Saratoga, I think of summer, color, movement, conversation, and joy.”
“It is the kind of place where a dress should take you from the track to lunch, from shopping on Broadway to dinner with friends, from a summer afternoon to a lasting memory. That is very much the world I design for.”
